10 years ago Miguel and fellow friend and professional sailor Eric PÉRON embarked on their first La Transat AG2R La Mondiale across the Atlantic to St Barths. Finishing in 3rd place back in 2008, they decided to bring back the dream team to tackle this exciting adventure once again. Eric, highly acclaimed veteran sailor in such prestigious races as the Volvo Ocean Race, AG2R and many more, was thrilled to have Miguel back on board.
The AG2R Mondiale is a 3,800 nautical mile course kicking off in Brittany, France and finishing in St Barths, taking place every two years with teams of 2. The race begins April 19, 2020 and is expected to last 22 days with initial arrivals to St Barths expected as of May 9, 2010.
