Miguel Danet 

Miguel Danet is a local native of St Barths. He inherited his love of the ocean from his parents; sailing and exploring around St Barths and other surrounding islands. As of 8 years of age, he enlisted in the local sailing school, the Saint Barth Yacht Club. His love affair of the ocean followed him into adolescence and adulthood. In 2008 and 2010, Miguel participated  in the famous French AG2R Trans-Atlantic sailing race starting from Concarneau in Brittany all the way to St Barths. He is very well known around the island for his sailing reputation, always positive attitude and adorable daughter.

His involvement in sailing does not stop with his St Barth Sailor company. He is, to this day, very involved with the Saint Barth Yacht Club, which serves the local sailing community; from teaching young children about the bare-essentials, to hosting local regattas with others that share Miguel’s passion.
